When the frequency > 3GHz (begin transitioning at 0.5GHz), wire antennas have too many parasitics to be useful. Hence a more distributed approach is needed.
As usual all results: AS IS, no responsibility assumed.
A simple extension of a waveguide where the spacing between the E plane walls increased until the RF is launched into free space.. Often used in conjunction with a a parabolic antenna.
A simple extension of a waveguide where the spacing between the H plane walls increased until the RF is launched into free space.. Often used in conjunction with a a parabolic antenna.
A simple extension of a waveguide where both the E plane and H plane spacing between the walls increased until the RF is launched into free space.. Often used in conjunction with a a parabolic antenna.
A simple extension of a waveguide where the spacing between the walls increased, converted into a cone and the RF is launched into free space..
