If more than one antenna is mounted in th ether then there will a combination on the radiation fields. Here we take a simplified look at what happens when some different types of antenna are combined. Initially we look at iso antennae (ie 0dbi 360 degree radiation). Later we will look at helix array (like the 4 x 4 Nasa design).
An Antenna Array
Linear Array (Uniform)
A N element broadside linear array with uniform spacing of the antennae.
Linear Array (Non Uniform)
A N element broadside linear array with specified spacing of the antennae.
Planar Array (Uniform)
A N x M element broadside "D" linear array with uniform spacing of the antennae.
Circular Array (Uniform Radial Pattern)
A N element circular array with uniform radial spacing of the antennae.
